SUNPRINTS
I search for colors, for harmony, for life,
am flabbergasted by the beauty of creation.
Springtime shows the freshness of the forms
when leaves still hesitate to show themselves,
but then expose themselves with joy.
My eyes are seeing, but my soul absorbs
the richness and diversity of forms.
Of all those leaves I choose just one or two
- only the most beautiful ones, I must admit -.
Paint and brushes wait at home,
want to adore, surround the quiet beauty
with an array of pleasing colors.
And there, God, the Creator of the leaves,
meets the rich intuition of the soul.
The thinking pole is stepping back, and there awakens
on the spur a new devotion to creation.
Only then occurs the big surprise
when sunbeams start to do their magic.
“Patience, patience” is the message, “don’t come too early”.
When then the leaf is lifted and in the richness of the colors
the Sunprint shows itself, as an imprinting of true life,
awakened to new life and spending joy around
in somber autumn/ winter days.
